Top Cowboys will brave a turn on “THE BOOGERMAN” at the
Famous Tate Pro Rodeo Classic Presented by MIDFLORIDA Federal Credit Union

LAKELAND, Fla – Bull riders at The Famous Tate Pro Rodeo Classic presented by MIDFLORIDA Federal Credit Union will have something new to fear with the announcement of “The Boogerman’s” first ever Polk county appearance. The world famous fearsome bull will be bucking off riders like crazy on January 16-17 at The Lakeland Center for two shows at 8pm.

Now retired from competition and living in Haines City with owners Bill and Betty Morrison, “The Boogerman” is making a special appearance to maintain his fierce reputation and thrill fans with an incredible display of strength and endurance.

Born in 1996 and weighing approximately 1600 pounds, “The Boogerman” is one of the most feared bulls known for bucking off nearly 90 percent of riders during his career. Out of those few who managed not to be bucked off right away, they lasted for a mere average of 3.9 seconds.

Over his career with the Professional Bull Riders circuit, “The Boogerman” averaged a bull score of 43.11 out of a maximum of 50. Always near perfection, his bull rating peaked at 21.48 just a few points away from the perfect 25 points.

A sanctioned PRCA event, the event will feature top cowboys and cowgirls competing in 8 professional rodeo events. Tickets are on sale now and are $45 for Gold Bucket seats, $33 and $20 for reserved seats and $16.50 for general admission.
